Merit, competition and globalization
mercoledì 9 maggio 2007 09:00
Università Bocconi - Aula Magna
via Gobbi 5
History has taught us that globalization is the result of political decisions. Thus it could be interrupted and even rolled back, with grave
consequences. The international agenda has been busy with the elimination of trade barriers, the provision of aid to developing
countries and the cancellation of debt. But labour mobility remains the “missing link” in the globalization chain. Today we must put labour
mobility at the top of the world’s agenda.
