Stefano Boeri
Architect, he teaches urban planning at the Politecnico of Milan
Born in 1956, Stefano Boeri studied architecture in Milan, and in 1989 he received a PhD from the IUAV in Venice. After having been the editor of the journal “Domus” since 2003, starting in September 2007 he will be the editor and head of “Abitare.” He teaches Urban Planning at the Politecnico in Milan, and his study in Milan (Boeri Studio) deals with architecture and urban planning. He has organized a variety of interdisciplinary exhibits and managed many research projects including Uncertain States of Europe (USE) and Border Device(s), which were promoted by the research agency, “Multiplicity”. “Solid Sea”, an installation of Multiplicity, was shown at Documenta XI in 2002, in Kassel.
