Roberto Perotti
Director of IGIER Bocconi, he has taught in the Department of Economics at Columbia University
Director of the IGIER Innocenzo Gasparini Institute for Economic Research, Roberto Perotti teaches Political Economics at Bocconi University. He received a PhD from the Department of Economics at MIT and was an associate professor in the Department of Economics at Columbia University from 1997 to 2001. He was also a professor at the European University Institute between 2001 and 2003. Perotti is a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a research fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). Between 2003 and 2004 he was a consultant for important institutions like Banca d’Italia, the European Central Bank and the World Bank.
