Paul Verhaegen
Board Member of the Eindhoven University of Technology since October 2006, where he teaches corporate finance.
Born in Den Haag in the Netherlands, in 1950 he was married, and has three children. He graduated from Erasmus University of Rotterdam, where he also received a PhD in Economics. In ’87-88 he headed the Institutions and Financial Markets Division of the Netherlands Ministry of Finance and was general secretary of the Netherlands central council of investments. From ’88 to ’97 he was a board member of the Netherlands confederation of industrialists. He has been Dean of the
Rotterdam School of Management and president of CEMS, the association which unifies the European schools of management. He is a member of the surveillance councils of various companies.
