Paolo Franchi

Editor of the Riformista
Paolo Franchi was born in Rome in 1949, and is married with one daughter. He began his career in journalism in the mid-1970’s writing for Rinascita, after which he worked for Paese Sera and Panorama. In 1986 he started working for the Corriere della Sera where he remained for twenty years, working as a correspondent, head of political stories, head of the Roman bureau and then as an editorialist. Since June 15th 2006 he has been the editor of the Riformista. He has collaborated with a variety of political journals. With Emanuele Macaluso he published Da Cosa Non Nasce Cosa, Una Conversazione sulla Sinistra Italiana, Rizzoli. For Laterza he produced a book-interview with Marco Follini: Intervista sui Moderati. Particularly important to him is the introduction which he wrote for Diario in Pubblico by Antonello Trombadori, published by Marsilio.
