Michele Costabile

Professor of marketing and corporate management at the University of Calabria
Michele Costabile, 44 years old, teaches marketing and corporate management at the University of Calabria (Arcavacata campus – CS). He also teaches and conducts research at the LUISS “Guido Carli” of Rome and at SDA Bocconi. After international experiences abroad at the Kellogg School of Evanston (Chicago), Harvard Business School (Cambridge, Mass.) and Columbia University (New York), in Italy he has particpated or overseen research projects primarily on topics regarding consumer behavior, marketing management and corporate strategy. He has dealt with the issues of consumer protection both through academic research (he has published several papers with Francesco Ricotta of the La Sapienza University of Rome) as well as in institutional work. He has been a member of the ministerial commission which produced the new Consumer Code. He promotes an original perspective of analysis and management of relations between consumers and technology, internet in particular.
