Massimo Calearo
President of Federmeccanica
Born in 1955 in Vicenza, Massimo Calearo, president of Federmeccanica, is also the president of the industrialist’s association for the province of Vicenza, and of Gruppo Calearo, which produces car antennas and high-tech mobile antennas for telecommunications. Board member of Unicredit Banca d’Impresa of Verona (since July 2004), Calearo is president of the local Unicredit committee in Vicenza. Since February 2007 he has been the president of SIFI, an Italian financial and real estate company, and a board member of Athesis, the publishing company which publishes “Il Giornale di Vicenza”, “L’Arena”and “Brescia oggi”. He is President of the Neri Pozza publishing house.
