Guido Martinotti
Full Professor of Urban Sociology at the University of Milan-Bicocca
Born in 1938, Guido Martinotti, sociologist and Vice-Rector of University of Milan-Bicocca has been a visiting professor at the sociology department of the University of California at Santa Barbara. In 2002 he was a visiting professor at the Metropolitan Studies Program at New York University. In 1998 and 1999 he was also a fellow at the E M Remarque Institute at New York University. His books include Milano ore sette: come vivono i milanesi (1988, with G. Micheli, S. Vicari, E. Muti and P. Natale), Cittadini si diventa (1996, with Eva Cantarella).
