Gianni Toniolo

Vice-president of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Venezia, Gianni Toniolo is a full professor at the Tor Vergata University of Rome, a research professor at Duke University in North Carolina, a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London, and a member of the executive commitees of the International Economic History Association and of the European Academy in Cambridge. He is also president of the scientific commitee of Lezioni Mattioli (Banca Commerciale Italiana and Bocconi University), editor of the Rivista di Storia Economica, which is published by Il Mulino and founded by Luigi Einaudi, and is a collaborator of Il Sole 24 Ore.
