Giampaolo Fabris

Giampaolo Fabris is regarded as one of the leading experts in the study of consumers and brands. He is head of the degree program in Communications at the Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele and leader writer for Affari&Finanza - La Repubblica where he writes the “Consumi” column. He has taught at the Universities of Turin and Ca’ Foscari in Venice, where he is currently responsible for the Communications area of the Master of Corporate Communication. He has also taught at the Sociology Faculty of the University of Trento. For some years he has headed the biggest study on social change ever undertaken internationally. It monitors the development of values and lifestyles, and the outcomes are used in public and private decision-making. His most important works in this area include : Le ricerche motivazionali (Etas Kompass) and Il comportamento dei consumatori (Angeli).
