Fedele Confalonieri

President of Mediaset

Born on August 6th, 1937 in Milan, Fedele Confalonieri received a degree in Law from the University of Milan, with a thesis on antitrust regulations. Currently he is the president of Mediaset and a board member of the newspaper Il Giornale. In December 2000 he was appointed director and vice-president of Gestevision Telecinco Sa. He is a member of the board and the executive committee of Confindustria and Assolombarda, and is president of the national television association, in the area of the Radio- Television Federation. He is a member of the executive committee of Assonima, Associazione italiana fra le società italiane per azioni.
