Claudio Di Macco
Scientific Advisor to the Board of the Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas
Teaching in the masters programs on the energy sector at the Universities La Sapienza, Tor Vergata in Rome, and Federico II in Naples, Claudio Di Macco is Scientific Advisor to the Board of the Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas. He is also a member of the Committee for Emergencies and Monitoring of the Natural Gas System at the Ministry of Economic Development. He has considerable experience in the public utilities sector and in the definition of models and tariff structures in network services. He was director of the Industry Ministry’s Monitoring Body on Prices and Tariffs, and a member of the Consultancy Unit on the Application of Guidelines on the Regulation of Public Utility Services (NARS) at the Ministry of the Economy. From 1998 to 2006 he was Gas Area Manager at the Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Gas.
