Anna Maria Dominici
General Manager of the Education Office for the Lombardy Region
Anna Maria Dominaci has a degree in law from Palermo and has been a lawyer since 1975. She has held a variety of managerial positions in public administrations and has carried out most of her career in Lombardy –as the vice education superintendant for Milan, the education superintendant for Varese and Como and then as the regional education superintendant for the Lombardy Region. In 1999 she was education superintendant for Naples and in 2001 became the general manager of the Education Office for the Campania region. In 2002 she carried out the same role in Umbria, then in Piedmont and currently she is the general manager of the Education Office for the Lombardy Region. Since 1998 she has been a member of the national MIUR-Confindustria technical-organizational joint committee which was established to guarantee a link between the educational system and the manufacturing system. She is also a member of the national Equal Opportunities committee for personnel working in ministerial divisions.
