Andre’ Sapir
Professor of International Economics and European Integration at the Free University of Brussels. (Universitè libre de Bruxelles) and author of the “Sapir Report.”
Andrè Sapir is known as the director of the study group which, during Prodi’s presidency of the European Commission, (2001-2004) gave life to the “Sapir Report” in 2003.
He is senior fellow of the European and Global Economic Laboratory in Brussels and a research fellow of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). At the European level he is a member of the group of economic policy analysis for the current European Commission, Manuel Barroso.
He is a founding member of the editorial board of the World Trade Review, which is published by the Cambridge University Press, and of the World Trade Organization.
