Alberto Giovannini

Managing Director and founder of Unifortune Sgr Milan

Graduate of the University of Bologna and with a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Alberto Giovannini founded and runs Unifortune Investment Mangement Ltd of London. President of a consultancy group on the impact of the euro on the European capital markets (Giovannini Group), Giovannini is an advisor to the Commission on Clearing and Settlement advisory and monitoring group (CESAME). He began his career as a professor at Columbia University where he taught and researched from 1983 to 1995. He has held various positions in the public and private sectors, including that of co-president of the Ministry of the Treasury’s Council of Experts.
